The Mommy Monologues
We moved out to the country four months prior to the birth of our youngest daughter. I felt isolated and overwhelmed. As I met other moms, I realized I wasn’t alone. We were all struggling in different ways. There are so many “how-to” books filled with advice for new moms. When you try the “4 Simple Steps to Get Your Newborn to Sleep” and it doesn’t work, you think there is something wrong with you. I felt the need to write a book about the reality of motherhood. I wanted moms to read these stories and feel connected to a sisterhood, a tribe. There is power in numbers. This book is the result of interviews with moms from all walks of life.
